Our office uses composite resin fillings to repair cavities. This metal-free material can be tinted to match you tooth, so it will blend beautifully into your all-white smile. Dr. Poyak will prepare your tooth, then fill the cavity with sculptable resin. A curing light causes the resin to harden. Then Dr. Poyak will sculpt the material to fit well with your bite. Composite resin fillings are durable and esthetic alternative to the silver amalgam fillings that often become black and discolored.
